Dennis S. Trahan, sadly passed away July 22, 2019. He will always be missed and remains in our memories.

Dennis was the owner, Vice President, a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Trahan Family Funeral Home. He was married to Dianna Henderson Trahan.

He received his Associate of Science Mortuary degree at Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama. He had been in the funeral business for forty-one years.

Dennis was a member of the East Brent Baptist Church, the Waterfront Improvement Society, The Moose Lodge, and the Krewe of Lafitte in Pensacola, Florida.

William "B.J." Trahan is the oldest son to Dennis and Dianna Trahan. B.J. is married to Jennifer Lastinger Trahan and has two children.

B.J. is an owner, licensed funeral director and embalmer and CFO of Trahan Family Funeral Home. He graduated from Pensacola High School in 1996. He has an Associate of Art Degree from PJC, an Associate of Science Mortuary degree from Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting at University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida.

He is a member of East Brent Baptist Church.

Richard A. Trahan is the youngest son to Dennis and Dianna Trahan. He is married to Pamela Antoine Trahan and they have three children.

He is an owner, the Operations Manager, Licensed Funeral Director, and Vice President of Trahan Family Funeral Home.

He graduated from Pensacola High School in 2000. He graduated from Bishop State Community College in 2012 with a degree in Mortuary Science.

He is a member of the Krewe of Lafitte, the Moose Lodge, the Waterfront Improvement Society, Masonic Lodge 42, and he is in the Directors Staff at the Hadji Shrine Temple.

He and his family are members of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church.

Jennifer Lastinger Trahan is married to William "B.J." Trahan. She is a licensed funeral director and managing director of the Milton location. Dianna Henderson Trahan, is the founder of Trahan Family Funeral Home.

She is a member of East Brent Baptist Church and a life time member V.F.W. Post 706.

Dianna grew up in the Brentwood Park area. Her parents were Bill and Melba Henderson. She attended the Brentwood Elementary School, Brentwood Junior High and Pensacola High School.

The Trahan Family Funeral Home is located where she grew up and where she and her husband Dennis raised their children, B.J. Richard and Candi.

Candi Trahan Parker is the oldest daughter to Dennis and Dianna Trahan. She is married to Jody Parker.

She is the Secretary/Treasurer, Pre-need Counselor, and an Insurance Agent for Trahan Family Funeral Home.

She graduated from Tate High School in 1993. She is a member of Living Truth Church, Krewe of Aphrodite Les Harlequins and Fiesta Frolickers.

Pamela Denae Trahan graduated from Pensacola Christian Academy in 2004 and has been with the company since 2005. She is married to the youngest son, Richard Trahan, and they have three children.

She is the Comptroller for the Pensacola and the Milton Funeral Homes. She is also a Pre-Need Counselor and a licensed Insurance Agent.

She and her family are members of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church.

Support Staff

Typically not seen during the funeral, the behind-the-scenes presence of support staff is nonetheless critical to the day-to-day operation of our facilities. Our support staff plays an important role in ensuring our high standard of service. We are proud of their dedication and commitment.

Woody is a counselor in the advanced funeral planning with Trahan Family Funeral Home.

Woody is from Pensacola, Florida. He graduated high school from Pensacola Catholic High in 1963. He attended Pensacola Junior College. He is married to Diane McKown and has two children. He is a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church located in Pensacola, FL., in the Bellview area.

Woody started his insurance career in 1976. He served 20 years in sales and numerous management positions.

In 1996 Woody opened his own agency and since served his clients in their individual insurance needs as well as helping them meet their needs in the area of advanced funeral planning.
