Samuel Parker, Jr. was born to the late Annie Ruth and Samuel Parker, Sr. on February 7, 1944 in Moss Point, MS. He departed this life on November 21, 2020.
He served in the United States Army. He worked at Owsley Lumber Company for a number of years. He moved to Newark, NJ and retired from Gerdav Ameristeel Company in 2009. After retiring, he moved back to Pensacola, FL to be close to his family.
He was the oldest of his siblings. Samuel was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Frank, Allen Parker and Eugene Parker.
Samuel leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving wife of 36 years, Cindy Parker; three daughters, Tina Parker, Michelle Parker and Marisha Carter of Pensacola; adopted son, Jamone Lewis of Killeen, TX; stepson, Roderick (Shelia) Montgomery of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Darnell Carter, Kardel Snow, Devin Carter, Michayla Douglas, Jamia Lewis, Jamya Lewis, Breiona Lewis, Jaden Lewis, Jamone Lewis, Jr., Demitri Montgomery and Niles Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Kardel Snow, Jr., Cyn’cere Carter, Koen Snow, Devin Carter, Jr., and Sahilee Parker; sister, Bessie Lee Parker of Pensacola; brother, Alvin Parker of Philadelphia, MS; sisters-in-law, Mary Parker of Evergreen, AL, Jessie Brooks Ashley Montgomery of Pensacola, and Barbara Dailey of Pensacola; brother-in-law, Charles (Joyce) Montgomery; devoted nephew, Morris Parker of Pensacola and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
