Obituary

Mother Margie Rebecca Jordan Galloway, was born May 16, 1950 in Chumuckla, FL to Brother Walter and Sister Maggie Irene Paige Jordan. She departed this earthly life for eternity with God on October 18, 2020. She was preceded in death by: her father and mother; one sister, Emma Jean Jordan Williams; and one brother, Sergeant Charles Paige.

She attended Chumuckla Elementary School, T.R, Jackson and graduated from Milton High School Class of 1970.

Mother Margie Galloway was a faithful member of Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church where she served on the Mother Board.

On August 11, 1969, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Lonnie Lee Galloway Sr. This union resulted in 50 years of marriage. To this union two sons, Lonnie Galloway, Jr. and James Galloway was born.

Mother Galloway loved her family, friends and church family. She would often say God has been good to me.

Mother Margie was employed at Santa Rosa Medical Center for ten years. Her career path then took her to Santa Rosa Health & Rehabilitation Center where she worked for over 30 years.

Cherishing her beautiful memories is: her devoted husband, Lonnie Lee Galloway Sr.; sons, Lonnie Lee Galloway Jr. and James Galloway; six grandchildren: Javon, La Dre, Jasmen, Jamson, Jahliya, and Rebecca; five great grandchildren; sister, Naomi Oliver; brother, Danny Lamar Jordan; aunt, Mary Young of Pensacola, FL; two god children; Ashley Johns and Nehemiah Johns; special friend, James Hudson; and other family, friends and her church family.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.

Enjoyed working with this lady at srhrc for many years your family is in my prayers. We always had fun working but we got our job done caring and loving for our residents
