Heart of God Church

Sister Jett was a wonderful friend who shared her joy & faith from knowing Our Heavenly Father. She was active in many ministries
where she would serve with her love of cooking, gardening, decorating & crafting, singing and hospitality. We would like Sister Jett’s family to know how much she helped us at Heart of God Church by volunteering in our weekly clothing closet. Along with
helping guests with clothes, Sister Jett lifted everyone’s spirits as they came through our front door.
Sister Jett was an active member of NW Florida Chapter of Dedicated Women in Christ. DWIC hosts many programs to encourage
women of all ages. Sister Jett had many ideas for programs of fun & inspiration. One of those events we will long remember was the colorful “Calendar Tea!”
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.” Proverbs 31:26. NKJV
(Jesus said) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 NIV

In Loving Memory

Thank you God for Jettieve Levins one of our mother’s most beloved,
She has gone to be with our Lord Jesus Christ in the heavens far above.
As a mother to our community one we will never forget,
she kept us singing and humming in the choir, she’s the one we all called Jett.

Jett gave of her talents, skills and time, doing so much for others,
she spent long hours keeping us in line, that’s why she was one of our mother’s.
I remember one day we were at her house playing ball with our best friend we called Bear,
we were about to fight when she came out and gave us the mother’s stare.

She dressed the heads of many young girls, middle age and old women too.
She performed miracles on some of those heads and they were pretty when she got through.

Jett was our choir director who taught us songs that lifted Jesus high,
I remember those songs and some were quite long, but they brought joy to every eye.
Oh, how we will miss her playing the piano and her melodious voice singing hymns,
her legacy lives on in spiritual songs in our hearts that will never grow dim.

We will rejoice and remember the love and sweetness that came from her day to day praise,
Giving continued thanks to our God for His mercy and grace by our uplifted hands we raise.

We Love you Jett and the Levins Family!

Blessings On You,
