Victor Alan Boyd, 56, lifelong resident of Jay Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 30, 2020, surrounded by his family.

Victor is survived by his fiancée, Leah Roberts, mother Bernice Boyd, sister Wanda Botts/Michael Botts (Brandon & Madison Botts), brother Curtis Boyd/Tracy Boyd (Brittany Johnson/Caleb Johnson, Roman Johnson, Heather Galbreath), brother Michael Boyd (Jesse & Eli Boyd), stepdaughter Elizabeth Holt/Matt Holt, grandkids Bryce, Zemma, Mattie, Brynlee, stepson Miles Baker (Zaiden & Zaylee).
Victor is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Boyd, and grandparents Cennie and Porter Stokes and Zoe and Rusty Boyd.
Victor was born on June 30, 1964 in Pensacola Florida. He grew up in Jay and graduated from Jay High School in 1982. Victor had worked the past 25 years for Escambia County Facilities Management as a facilities maintenance manager.
Victor was an avid fisherman, bird hunter, and loved spending time in the outdoors. He also was a very talented wood worker and was a die hard Alabama fan. One of Victors greatest joys was spending time with his grandkids and his family. Above all else Victor loved the lord and loved going to church. He attended Cornerstone Church in Jay and we want to thank his church family for all the prayers and love and support they gave Victor. Special thanks to Pastor Frederick Barrow for bringing church to Victor when he was not able to attend service.
Victor was a loving son, companion, brother, paw paw, uncle, friend and will be dearly missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at Cornerstone Christian Church in Jay Florida. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2nd from 6:00 – 8:00. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 3rd at 2:00. Burial will follow at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
