Bruce was born on September 10th, 1962 to Shirley Belle Wilder Harton and Wayne
Sudduth in Tuscaloosa Alabama. Bruce attended Wm. J Woodham High School, the Fighting
Titans. Bruce worked at the Navy Base as well as drove for the Yellow Cab Company. He
was employed with the Pepsi Cola Company, Dr. Pepper and Coca Cola Company where he
was a driver, stocker, loader and deliverer of goods to stores in Pensacola. Bruce was
employed with Sawyer Movers Trucking Company; where he loaded household goods, drove
and delivered furniture etc., all over the United States. After Bruce was furloughed, he
sought employment with the Pensacola Docks, there he was a Main Checker and after being
there he transferred employment to the Alabama Docks where he was a Head Foreman and
there he was over a group of men as well as travelling from Alabama, Mississippi and New
Orleans picking up Dock information which had to be shredded back at the Alabama Docks,
he was employed there until his sight started failing him in 2009.

Upon Bruce’s return to Pensacola, he joined Calvary Christian Church where he was a
devoted member until health issues came about.
Bruce was a diehard fan of the Alabama “Roll Tide” take note of his tie and handkerchief.
Bruce was an active and devoted member of the Wm. J Woodham Titans 4 Life.

Bruce was preceded in death by his grandmother, Josephine Wilder, grandfather, Willie C.
Wilder and mother, Shirley Belle Wilder Harton.
He leaves to cherish his memory; father, Wayne Sudduth, Tuscaloosa Alabama; former wife,
Sylvia Horton, his children, Linetta (Larry) Brewer, Loretta Horton, Bruce Horton Jr., Bryce
(Justice) Horton and Alajajuan Washington all of Pensacola, Florida. Sisters & Brothers;
Victoria (Greg) Boggan, Lithonia Georgia, Reverend Sharisse Chandler, Virginia, Jerome
(Ollie) Sealey Clarksville, Tennessee; Wayne Sealey and Minnie Sealey both of Tuscaloosa
Alabama. Grandchildren; Kellione Horton, Tyreanna Fantroy, Andrian Bailey, C’Adrian Bailey,
Malaysia Brewer, Kazayvian Horton, J’ubrye Horton, Journi Horton, Aaliyah Horton, and
Kaliyah Horton all of Pensacola, Florida. Bruce leaves a special neice Keiota (Jason) Jones
of, Georgia. Two special nephews, Sheldon & Shannathan Boggan of Lithonia Georgia. Two
devoted Aunts: Bertha (Willie James deceased) McConnico of Pensacola, Florida and Thelma
Jenkins, of Birmingham Alabama. Several special friend’s, Jerome & Cindy Bess, Barbara A.
Hale, Reginald Nichloson, Norman Robinson, all of Pensacola, Florida and Nicholas Tyson of
Barth Florida.
