George Patrick Rogers (GPR) was one of my favorite people to ever walk the planet. It breaks me to know that he is no longer here. I have met many military and non military men in my day and George Patrick Rogers was a MAN among men. I worked
with George in Civil service for about 10 years, but he was my friend for more than 20 years. There are few people in the world that will tell you exactly how they feel, GPR was in the top 1 percent in that category. I saw many occassions where George would stand up to the powers that be to ensure logic, common sense and reality had a place. He backed down from no one.

His number one priority was always his family. Lisa kept him grounded, Ian and Amber kept him focused and later in life his grandchildren made it a life well lived. George left an imprint on my life that I cannot describe in words.

A Beautiful Soul and a Life Well Lived. Love you Brother.

Lisa and family, With deepest sympathy on the loss of a husband, father, brother, and friend. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep him in your heart and memories for then shall he always be with you. Look for the signs as he will most definitely be your guardian angel! All my love, Glennis
