Paulette Gentry passed away March 13, 2020 in Milton, Florida. Visitation will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., followed by the service at 10:00 a.m.
Paulette was born on January 18, 1956 to Thomas and Dolores Kochis. She was a 1974 graduate of Monroe High School in Monroe, Michigan. After high school, she enlisted in the US Army serving as a legal clerk in the 8th infantry division, West Germany. After serving time in the US Army, she went back to school and received a degree in nursing. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, quilting, and crocheting.
Paulette is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dolores Kochis; and a brother, Mark Thomas Kochis.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Gentry; three daughters: Sarah Gentry Bus (Thomas), Heather Gentry, and Lauren Gentry; six grandchildren: Bailey, Ewan, Marcus, Amia, Tamsin, Keyarah, Lathaniel, and Lacari; three sisters: Karen Kochis McDonald, Aimee Carroll, and Mary Kochis; her beloved dog, Charlie; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
