Sandra Kay Somerville, 59, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away in her home on February 27, 2020. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 25, 1961 to Eldridge and Bernice Carnahan. She was an amazing wife and mother of three. She was well known and loved at Walmart- where she worked for twenty years.
She fought hard for almost eight years with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She was the most loving and caring person you ever met. It was a long, hard journey for everyone, but everyone who had a hand in caring for her would tell you- we would do anything for that woman because she spent her life bending over backwards for all of us. She’s no longer suffering and, though it’s still hard and she’s missed so much, there’s a peace knowing she’s resting with the Lord and will be forever in our hearts.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Craig Somerville, two sons, Michael Nelson and CJ Somerville, daughter, Kristy Somerville, and two grandbabies, Waylon and Aubree.
