Eldon Ray McCormick, age 79, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2020. He was the husband of Lois McCormick for 48 wonderful years.
Mac was born in Hallowell, Kansas on December 4, 1940. Mac resided in Pace, Florida since 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Opal McCormick; brother, David McCormick; and sister, Linda Hyatt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lois McCormick; their five kids: Greg Cooley (Shirley), Wendall Cooley (Amy), Mike Cooley, and Walter and Maria Wolf; a loving sister-in-law, Bernice Stacey; his grandchildren: Tiffany Harrison, Aaron Cooley, Crysti White, Candace Cotton, Michael Cooley, Courtney Cooley, Michaela Cooley, Blake Hayes, Wendall Cooley, and Hannah Cooley; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Mac was an Associate Pastor and member of All Things New Ministries. He retired from International Paper as an electrician. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mac enjoyed family time and teaching the word of God.
The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton. Service will be officiated by Brother Frankie Godsey.
