Obituary

Patsy Rue Bray Fulmore, age 85, of Pace, Florida, passed away on Feb 5, 2020. She was born in Jay, Florida, the daughter of Charlie & Bertie Bray. Patsy cared deeply for her patients. After she retired, she enjoyed spending time working outside in her flower beds and garden. She also spent her summers taking care of her granddaughter, Caitlyn. The two of them were always doing fun things and she taught Caitlyn how to cook.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Chester Coy Fulmore; parents, Charlie & Bertie Bray; sister, Peggy Bray Clifford; and brothers, Steve Bray and Billy Bray.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Fulmore of Pace, Florida, Randy Fulmore of Pace, Florida, and Sandy Enloe (Tim) of Alabaster, Alabama; a very special grand daughter, Amanda Caitlyn Enloe who she loved a bushel, peck and hug around the neck; sister, JoAnn Bray; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is Saturday, Feb 8, 2020 from 9 am until the funeral service begins at 10 am at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Milton, Florida. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Chapel in Chumuckla, FL.

I’ll always remember Aunt Patsy with a smile. She was one of those rare jewels of humankind. She gave so much to others through her nursing, volunteering and good deeds. One of my fondest memories is my annual summer week long stay at Aunt Patsy’s home! She kept me and my cousins( her children) busy doing sewing, arts and crafts, bike riding, VBS and many other fun activities! She was the best! She always had beautiful flowers in her yard! I always think of colorful petunias, in regards to Aunt Patsy. She had pots and pots of them in and around her yard. I can only image the reunion that happened as Aunt Patsy went HOME to Heaven Wednesday morning! No more cancer! She is restored! Praying for comfort for Doug, Randy, Sandy, Joann and the rest of the family during this temporary parting🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Aunt Patsy, you'll never know how much you meant to my family. From keeping the boys when they were young while we Christmas shopped, to always remembering our birthdays, to the blueberries, candy, peas, etc. you sent our way, you were always thinking of us. It pains my heart to even imagine a Thanksgiving or Christmas that doesn't involve going to Aunt Patsy's. I'm so grateful for your willingness to always put up with my picture-taking because as I knew when I was taking them, I will cherish those memories forever. Until we meet again....XOXOXO
