The darker the night, the brighter the stars.
The deeper the grief, the closer to God. ~ Dostoyevsky
On January 12th, 2020, Phyllis "Bebo" Hargraves passed on to the other side. Her kindness and light will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who are mourning the loss of a beautiful being but have also gained an amazing guardian angel. Bebo is now watching over her life partner, Mark, her three children, Mike, Stephanie, and Jessica, her siblings, Marie and David, and her grandchildren Taylor and Kaiser. There is no doubt she is also watching over anyone else who needs it because that is just how she was.
Born in Indiana in 1952, Bebo moved to Pensacola, Florida, where she worked at a daycare for 20 years. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed going to the beach, attending concerts, church on Sundays followed by a Packers game, and drinks with family and friends. She was fun and funny. Loving and kind. Strong and calm. The best mother, the best woman, and the best friend.
A celebration of Bebo's life will take place on Saturday, January 25th, at 2 pm, on the pier behind Bamboo Willies on Pensacola Beach. In lieu of flowers, grab a beer, play a Metallica song on the jukebox, and help celebrate Bebo's fantastic life. See you at the hizzy, Bebo
