Bettye Clyde Allen Pinkney, born on January 26, 1949 to Cassie and Fancy Allen, of Bagdad, Florida
Bettye accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and continued to serve God throughout her life. Bettye attended T. R. High School in the Santa Rosa County School System. Bettye was employed with the Santa Rosa County School Board as a custodian for many years. She was later employed with Pooley’s Rest Home, finally Summerset Assisted Living Facility for Nellie and Joe Johnson until her health began to fail.
On January 2, 2020, God called Bettye home to receive an eternal rest. Precious memories will always remain with those who loved her so dearly. She is preceded in death, her father Mr. Cassie Allen, her mother Mrs. Fancy Allen; her husband Mr. Lewis Pinkney, and Willie Young, father of her children; four sisters: Coretha, Bernice, June and Lily Ruth; four brothers, Cassie, Bobby, Charlie and Earlie; one daughter, Sylvia Annette Baker.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters: Anices (Jerome), April (Andrew), Rebecca (Jose) and Susan (Cordarro); two sons, Jeffery Allen and Steven Pinkney; a step son, Thomas “Hollywood” Hall; five brothers: Robert, Solomon, Rodney, Clifford and Michael; a special friend, John W. Baker; three sister-in-laws: Dorothy Allen, Hattie McClain and Libby Pinkney; two special nieces Patricia Currington and Faye Allen; a special daughter-in-law Elizabeth Perez and like a son Mauel Perez and a host of other special friends; 19 grandchildren: Tangela, Tiffany, Jessica, David Exzayphia, Gaius, Jeffery, Demetrius, Latoya, Candace, Calin, Keysha, Steven Jr., Fancy, Danielle, Brenda, Zana, Cordarro Jr. and Zyriah; 28 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
