Obituary for Almeadie Nickson "Al" Rivers

Sister Almeadie Nickson was born in Bonifay, FL to Orace and Gussie Nickson on the 8th day of September 1946.
She was raised in Bagdad, FL and attended Milton High School. She moved to Pensacola, FL where she eventually married Willis G. Rivers Sr. She remained in Pensacola for over 50 years. A dedicated wife and home maker for over 40 years and mother of three children, Michelle, Byron and Myron.
She was a faithful member of Liberty Peace Baptist Church and St. John Divine Baptist Church. She served as an usher and was a member of the choir.
“Al”, as she was known by to her family and friends, loved to travel, cook, spend time with her family and give God his praise.
She was preceded in death by her husband and nine siblings. She leaves her three children, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren to carry on her legacy.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, stepmother, auntie, cousin and friend until her passing on the 27th day of November 2019.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
