Mitchell Jackson (Jackie) Seale III of Pensacola, FL passed away at the age of 66 on October 14, 2019. Jackie was born on August 13, 1953 to his parents Mitchell J. Seale, Jr. and Mary E. Seale in Birmingham, AL.
Jackie worked for his father Jack Seale in the mechanical engineering field for most part of his adulthood. He was known for his beautiful style of draftsmanship and contractual mechanical drawings.
He made many friends when he lived on the beach and spent a lot of his time with them. Not to forget all of his surfing buddies whom he kept in touch with. He was loved and admired by all and never met a stranger.
For more than ten years Jackie worked as the store manager for Rememberwynn Records in Pensacola. With his love for music and his knack for making friends, he was perfect for the job. He was very successful with sales and enjoyed the resurge of vinyl records to the marketplace. It was like living in the past as a child with his many records and the record player.
Jackie is preceded in death by father Mitchell J. Seale, Jr, mother Mary E. Seale and his brother Richard L. (Bear) Maddox. Jackie is survived by his son David J. Seale; sister Mary C. Gleba; nephew Jeff Malone; niece Amy Werley and family; sister Susan A. Seale and Earl Wynn; sister-in-law Jenny Maddox; niece Rachel Maddox and family; and nephew Richard Maddox Jr. and family. Jackie will be missed very much by his many cats at home and the record store.
Jackie was a huge Yankee Baseball fan. He often talked about going to the World Series to see his Yankee’s win. If there is a baseball heaven, Jackie is already there.
Contributions in Jackie’s name can be sent to the Humane Society of Pensacola.
Celebration of Jackie’s life will be at the Paradise Inn on Pensacola Beach, Saturday October 26th at 3:00 pm.
