Glenora Jane McWilliams
July 27, 1940 – August 02, 2019
Glenora Jane McWilliams, 79, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, August 2, 2019. She lived in Parker, PA, until moving to Pensacola, FL where she lived for 33 years.
Glenora danced and played piano in her younger years. Later she graduated from Cosmetology school, as well as working as a seamstress, and Medical Transcriptionist. Glenora was a Super cashier for most of her adult life. Some of her Civic Involvements were Warrington Elks Lodge Bingo, McGuires Pipe Band, Parker Patriots Drum, and Baton Corps. Glenora was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church in Pensacola, FL.
She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Trips to the mountains, Holy Land Experience, car shows, Sunday afternoons, and Mount Washington, NH, are some of the memories we will never forget.
Glenora was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ora Shaffer; mother, Rosina Santee; husband, John V. McWilliams.
Glenora leaves to cherish her memories her children, Lloyd Wallace McWilliams Jr. (JoAnna), Barbara Ann Gross (Terry), Charles David McWilliams (Lisa), Grace McWilliams Moore (Ed), and Edward Lyndon Johnson (Brandi); 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many friends who loved her.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, August 5, 2019 at Little Flower Catholic Church, with mass starting at 10:30 am.
