Dennis D. White, Sr., 71, of Pensacola, FL succumbed to cancer at West Florida Hospital’s Covenant Hospice Inpatient and Palliative Care Center. He was surrounded by his sister and daughters, on June 30, 2019 at 8:40 a.m.
He was born to George White and Maxine Slagle on July 27, 1947 in Winslow, Arizona. He graduated from Fremont High School in Nebraska. He got a graduate certificate from Home entertainment Electronics Systems in March of 1976.
He was married to his first wife Virginia White from October 3, 1970 – March 30, 1983. They were married in Fremont, NE. On February 14, 1988 he married Carolyn, his beautiful wife and love of his life of 30 years.
Dennis served his country in the Navy for 4 years during the Vietnam War. He was a fun-loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. He worked at Irby Electrical for 20+ years as a warehouse driver but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his health.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn White; parents, George and Maxine White; son, David Dwaine White; daughter, Carol Lyons; grandson, Jacob Allen White; and brother-in-law, Kenny Knerr.
Those left to cherish his memory of his daughters, Dana F. White of Blue Rapids, Kansas, Angie (James) Whiting of Waterville, Kansas, Lita (Paul) Garcia of Pensacola, FL and Johnnie (Kevin) Monroe of Pensacola, FL; son, Dennis (Heather) White of Winfield, Kansas; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Garcia, Kevin Monroe, Samuel Lyons, Cameron Monroe, Nicholas Monroe and Rick Vige.
