Ms. Ella Louise Rushing was born December 3, 1951 in Escambia County, Florida to the late Mr. Handy and Bernice Hill. She joined Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church at a young age and was a faithful member when she resided in the Milton area. As a former military wife, she traveled and lived in various locations around the world. Her travels continued in the United States, visiting family and friends throughout the country.
Ms. Rushing had many activities and hobbies that included cooking, singing, shopping, fishing and decorating, but her passion was for her family. She loved her family dearly; rescuing and restoring love ones was a high priority for Ella. She was known for her generosity and her lively personality. Ms. Rushing was gifted in the ministry of hospitality and help. She served veterans at the VA Hospital, often cooked and delivered dinners to the sick and shut in and recently hosted women's bible studies and prayer in her home in Pensacola Florida.
The very last words of Ms. Ella L. Rushing were words of adoration to the Lord Jesus Christ. She worshiped and praised the Lord with joy knowing she was soon to meet the King of Kings.
