James W. “Jim” Nicholson, Sr., 83 of Pensacola passed away December 30, 2018.
Jim was raised in Brownsville, a member of Richards United Methodist Church, a member of the Brownsville Boys. He served in the Naval Reserves, worked at Pensacola/Automation Typewriter for 28 years and developed and owned: Fountain Blue MHP, JR – C Concrete Products and Stephanie Farms.
He was a great a business man, as he was a husband, father, grandfather and all around person. He cared and took care of his family and touched the lives of many others. He loved volksvagons, antiques and his dogs.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Sadie Nicholson; granddaughter, Angel Marie Bailey; brother and sisters.
Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peggy Walker Nicholson; children, Jim and Randy Nicholson and Cindy (Jeff) Bailey; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley and Jessica Bailey and James III, Austin (Morgan) and Trevor Nicholson; sister, Carolyn Wise and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life to celebrate Jim on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 at their home from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. for family and friends. His cremated remains will be placed at Pine Forest U.M.C. cemetery in the columbarium.
