Scott Alan Strachan was born at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland on September 25, 1962. Onboard to welcome him with Mom & Dad was big brother Steven. Scott attended school in Pace and Milton, Florida where he graduated. Scott joined the workforce after school hours at Barnes Supermarket and Piggly Wiggly. Scott owned and operated a video store in Pensacola. His continual education included training at Ozark, AL for his FAA Airframes & Powerplants license with employment for the next 30 years in the Naval aviation field at NAS Pensacola and Whiting Field. Scott enjoyed nature, animals, fishing, hiking, motorcycling and traveling.

Scott lost his battle with cancer on December 10, 2018.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Lisa; mom, Rebecca Owings; dad, Ed (Liz) Strachan; brother, Steven Strachan; stepsister, Scarlett White; Aunt, Debbie Amenhauser; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Tony) Ross; stepson, Kevin Melton; four step grandchildren; his fur babies, Shadow and George, lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends from work.
Visitation will be held December 13th, 6-8 pm at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton and funeral services on December 14th, 10 am at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, followed by graveside services at Milton Cemetery a meal for friends and family will be held at Community of Christ church on Raymond Hobbs Street beside Milton High School. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Cancer Treatment Center of America and West Florida Hospice for their kind care.
