Obituary for Carol Ann Sapp

Carol Ann Sapp
Carol Ann Sapp, born June 9, 1941, went home to be with her Lord and Savior November 5, 2018. Born in Miami, Florida to Robert and Audrey Watson, her fondest childhood memories were made in the Gull Point area of Pensacola, Florida, where she spent time with cousins and childhood friends. She graduated from Pensacola High School in 1959. Carol married her middle school sweetheart, Lamar, January 8th, 1960 and they shared 58 years together. After retiring from Monsanto in 1996 with 36 years of service, she and Lamar enjoyed spending time at their home away from home in Ft. Morgan Alabama. Carol served many years as a Missionette leader at Milton First Assembly of God where she left a legacy of love in the lives of many young women. God used her servant heart to touch the lives of those around her as she lived her faith daily.

Carol is predeceased by her parents, Audrey and Robert Watson, sons Charles Robert and Aubrey Lamar “Bubba” Sapp Jr. She is survived by husband, Aubrey Lamar Sapp; children Kathy (Jerry) Pace and Greg (Kristi) Sapp; grandchildren, Lauren (John) Smyrski, Garrett Pace, Kaitlyn Pace and Morgan Sapp; siblings, are Louise (Bill) Shimer, Bob (Priscilla) Watson, Nedra Borelli and Stanley Watson; she had many special nephews and nieces and fondly remembered cousins.

Pallbearers are Garrett Pace, Jerry Pace, Shane Watson, Lonnie Williams, Josh Hargitt and Larry Hamilton. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Ray, Ken Maxwell, John Rucker and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class of Milton First Assembly of God.
