Richard Christopher Anderson of Milton, FL. went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2018 after a long battle with kidney disease. Chris fought a good fight and never complained. He was a true hero.
Chris loved racing of any kind. He enjoyed working on motors and building race cars until he was unable to do so any longer.
Chris worked at Coastal Machinery most of his adult life, up until 2010 when he had a kidney transplant that caused him to retire.
Chris is survived by two children, Avri and Jonathan; mother and step-father, Mavis and David McCarthy; father and step-mother, Richard and Angelia Anderson; three brothers, Keith Harp, Kevin and Nick Anderson; and a host of cousins and lots of special friends.
Chris was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Milton, FL.
Visitation will be at Olivet Baptist Church on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. until service starts at 12:00 p.m. Chris will be laid to rest at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise, AL. at 3:30 p.m.
