James C. “Jim” Hogg, 84, passed away on May 17, 2018. He is now in Heaven with his loving wife of 44 years, Faye.
Jim was born on April 13, 1934 in Dozier, AL to Waverly and Effie (Wallace) Hogg. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Arizona, England, and Alaska from 1952 – 1956. He returned to school to complete his education and graduated with his high school diploma at age 45, something he was very proud of.
Jim was a master mechanic and could look and listen to a car to figure out was the problem was. He could then repair it effortlessly. He built a beautiful T-bucket Roadster from the ground up that he loved to drive around Milton, and to car shows.
He was a jack of all trades, working in construction, roofing, and welding. He built houses, churches, and several bridges in Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties.
Jim loved the Lord with all his heart and tried to serve Him faithfully. He was a member of New Testament Church in Milton, FL.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord shall give me at that day.
